Designing with Curiosity
A note on how curiosity-led research changed the way I build digital experiences for people I care about.
I used to jump into layouts the moment I opened Figma. Now I start every project with interviews and a table full of sticky notes. Questions became my wireframes.
A better brief
Curiosity led me to ask for screenshots, voice notes, and stories from real people. Those artifacts replaced vague personas. They also kept the team grounded in the lives we were designing for.
Momentum from small bets
I learned to publish prototypes early—a single flow, a napkin sketch, a line of copy. Each artifact invited feedback, and the collaboration that followed saved weeks of guesswork.
Curiosity isn't soft. It's a strategy for building with intent.
