A Year of Building Myself
Looking back at a year of deliberate practice, playful exploration, and the origins of my creative discipline.
January — Saying yes to the unknown
I started the year with a promise to pursue the projects that made me discomfortably excited. That meant reaching out to collaborators I admired, rewriting old codebases, and giving myself deadlines that felt a little too ambitious.
April — Finding rhythm in rituals
Consistency came when I stopped treating creativity as a bolt of lightning. I blocked my mornings, protected them fiercely, and learned that progress accumulates when I show up at the desk even when ideas feel stubborn.
August — Learning to release
Shipping my work meant letting go of perfection. I wrote more, published faster, and realized that stories become useful when they meet the world—not when they stay trapped in drafts.
I remind myself often: curiosity is a practice, not a personality trait.
October — Building the world of me
This site is the home for the patterns, lessons, and experiments I want to protect. It's a studio more than a gallery—a place where I can return, take notes, and build again.
